Perfectionism often looks like drive, discipline, and high standards — yet underneath, it functions as a survival strategy that promises safety and control while quietly keeping recovery stuck.
In this live workshop inside the Eating Disorder Recovery Circle, we explore where perfectionism comes from, why it feels so convincing, and how it fuels restriction, rigidity, overthinking, and self-criticism. We look at why striving harder never brings peace, and what it means to soften pressure and live from values rather than impossible standards.
This is gentle, honest work for anyone who feels exhausted by always needing to be “better” and never feeling enough.
